When you assign exhibitors to booths, the best practice is to change the order and exhibitor status to the next step in your workflow. You can configure the software to do this automatically. First, you configure the order status for the order when the booth is assigned. Then, you configure the exhibitor status for the exhibitor based on the order status assigned to the order. You must configure both the order status and exhibitor status for the system to automatically update the statuses.
Assign Order Status
Configure the order status for the order when the exhibitor is assigned to the booth.
- Click the Event Management Configuration link from the Main Menu. The Event Management Configuration screen opens.
- Select the Booths tab.
- Select the status for the service order(s) when you assign an exhibitor to a booth from the Update booth order status to… drop-down.
- Click OK.
Assign Exhibitor Status
Configure the exhibitor status assigned to the exhibitor based on the order status you configured above.
- Click the Order Statuses link from the Main Menu. The Order Status Master screen opens.
- Select the status you selected in step 3 above.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Order Status screen opens.
- Select the status for the exhibitor(s) when the order status in step 3 from above is assigned from the Update Exhibitor Status to… drop-down.
- Click OK.
Once you configure both statuses, Ungerboeck automatically updates the order status to the status configured in Assign Order Status and updates the exhibitor status to the status configured in Assign Exhibitor Status.
