You use event opportunity frequencies with group profiles or event opportunities to set how often the event may happen, such as annually or quarterly.
Add a Frequency
- Click the Event Opportunity Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Event Opportunity Frequencies page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Event Opportunity Frequency window opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Description - Description of the frequency.
- Code - Unique alphanumeric code used by the system.
- Annual Ratio - The frequency ration compared to an annual frequency. Fore example if the frequency is monthly, enter 12 (12 times in 1 year). If the frequency is every other year, enter .5.
- Click OK.
Change a Frequency
You can change the description and annual ratio of the frequency after you created it. When you change the description of a frequency, it updates wherever the frequency is used. If you don't want to update the already existing frequency data, then you must add a new frequency using the steps in Add a Frequency.
- Click the Event Opportunity Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Event Opportunity Frequencies page opens.
- Select the frequency to edit.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Event Opportunity Frequency window opens.
- Make the desired change.
- Click OK.
Delete a Frequency
If you no longer use a frequency and don't want to keep a record of it, you can delete it. When you delete a frequency that is used, you receive a prompt to select a frequency to replace the frequency you are deleting. You cannot undo the delete or delete and replace process.
- Click the Event Opportunity Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Event Opportunity Frequencies page opens.
- Right-click on the frequency to delete.
- Select Mark for Delete.
- Click the Save button. If the frequency is used, the Replace window opens.
- Select the frequency from the drop-down to replace the deleted frequency.
- Click OK.
