You use market regions with group profiles or event opportunities to define the region for the potential event.
Add a Market Region
- Click the Market Regions link from the Main Menu. The Market Regions page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Market Region window opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Description - Description of the market region.
- Code - Unique alphanumeric code used by the system.
- Click OK.
Change a Market Region
You can change the description of the market region after you have created it. When you change the description of a market region, it updates wherever the market region is used. If you don't want to update the already existing market region data, then you must add a new market region using the steps in Add a Market Region.
- Click the Market Region link from the Main Menu. The Market Region page opens.
- Select the market region to edit.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Market Region window opens.
- Make the desired change.
- Click OK.
Delete a Market Region
If you no longer use a market region and don't want to keep a record of it, you can delete it. When you delete a market region that is used, you receive a prompt to select a market region to replace the market region you are deleting. You cannot undo the delete or delete and replace process.
- Click the Market Regions link from the Main Menu. The Market Regions page opens.
- Right-click on the market region to delete.
- Select Mark for Delete.
- Click the Save button. If the market region is used, the Replace window opens.
- Select the market region from the drop-down to replace the deleted market region.
- Click OK.
