Membership was rewritten in v30.97 to use a new process. For continuity purposes, the previous Membership functionality remains available but is referred to as Legacy Membership. In v30.97 and later, membership functionality is referred to as Membership.
Membership statuses indicate where a membership is in the overall process. There are two levels to membership statuses: membership status group and the membership status. You must assign every membership status to a membership status group.
The membership status group is maintained by Ungerboeck and allows you to group together membership statuses. An example of membership statuses with membership status groups:
- Active (Group)
- New (Status)
- Renewed (Status)
- Inactive (Group)
- Unable to Contact (Status)
- Cancelled (Status)
- Prospective (Group)
- Interest (Status)
- Waitlist (Group)
- Waiting List (Status)
- Overdue (Group)
- Pending Renewal (Status)
