Mobile Inventory is an application that allows your staff to search for items, create inventory transactions, and complete physical counts from their mobile device.

Mobile Inventory is part of the Operations Suite. You can use it on its own or in conjunction with the other Operation Suite applications.
To configure Mobile Inventory:
- Click the Inventory Mobile Configurations link from the Main Menu. The Inventory Mobile Configurations page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Inventory Mobile Configurations window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Description - Name of the configuration for internal use.
- Item Lookups - If checked, item lookups are available in the application.
- Physical Counts - If checked, physical counts are available in the application.
- Show Physical Counts on Hand - If checked, the item on-hand amounts show in the application.
- Retired - If checked, the mobile application configuration is unavailable.
- Expand the Transaction Types section.
- Check the box for the inventory transactions allowed from within the Mobile Inventory application.
- Click OK.
Create the Mobile Inventory URL
After you create your mobile inventory configuration, you need to create the URL your users use to log into the application.
- Click the Operations Suite Configurations link from the Main Menu. The Operations Suite Configurations page opens.
- You can either add a new Operations Suite Configuration or edit an existing Operations Suite Configuration:
- To add a new configuration:
- Click the Add button. The Add Operations Suite Configuration window opens.
- To edit an existing configuration:
- Select the configuration to assign the mobile inventory configuration to.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Operations Suite Configuration window opens.
- To add a new configuration:
- Enter the following information for a new configuration. If you are editing an existing configuration, skip to step 4.
- Description - Name of the configuration.
- Sign-in Dictionary - Dictionary to use for the sign-in page. All other pages use the dictionary assigned to the signed in user in the User Settings screen.
- Select the configuration for the URL from the Inventory Mobile Configuration - . This is the configuration you created in the above section.
- Click the Save (disk) button. The window saves and updates to Edit Operations Suite Configuration.
- Click the Copy Shortcut button. You receive a message that the shortcut is copied to the clipboard.
- Click OK. Paste the URL wherever you need it.
