Physical count frequencies are how often you need to do inventory on your stock.
Add a Physical Count Frequency
- Click the Physical Count Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Physical Count Frequencies page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Physical Count Frequency window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Description - Name of the physical count frequency.
- Code - Unique alphanumeric value.
- Click OK.
Change a Physical Count Frequency
You can change the description for a physical count frequency after you have created it. When you change the description of a physical count frequency, it updates wherever the physical count frequency is used. If you don't want to update the already existing physical count frequency data, then you must add a new physical count frequency using the steps in Add a Physical Count Frequency.
- Click the Physical Count Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Physical Count Frequencies page opens.
- Select the physical count frequency to edit.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Physical Count Frequency window opens.
- Update the description.
- Click OK.
Delete a Physical Count Frequency
If you no longer use a physical count frequency and don't want to keep a record of it, you can delete it. When you delete a physical count frequency that is assigned to an inventory item, you receive a prompt to select a physical count frequency to replace the physical count frequency you are deleting. You cannot undo the delete or delete and replace process.
- Click the Physical Count Frequencies link from the Main Menu. The Physical Count Frequencies page opens.
- Right-click on the physical count frequency to delete.
- Select Mark for Delete.
- Click the Save button. If the physical count frequency is used, the Replace window opens.
- Select the physical count frequency from the drop-down to replace the deleted physical count frequency.
- Click OK.
