The Event Portal (EP) utilizes File Upload Configurations for Review and Submit tasks. The file upload configuration controls the document type/category, size, sensitivity, and the maximum number of files allowed for upload. To create a file upload configuration:
- Main Menu > File Upload Configuration > click the link. The File Upload Configurations page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add File Upload Configuration window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Description – Name of the configuration. Internal use only.
- Title – Text that displays for the upload section on the online EP page.
- Summary – Text that displays under the title for the upload section on the online EP page. This is often utilized to add "what to do" instructions for the public-facing user.
- Document Category – Defines the document category to assign to the uploaded document. The file types allowed are controlled by the Document Category (Document Class).
- Document Sensitivity - Assigns a document sensitivity to the uploaded document.
- Max Allowed Files - Total number of files the public-facing user may upload via the task. All uploaded documents are saved and may be viewed in the software in the tasks documents tab.
- Note: When a public-facing user uploads multiple documents and completes the task, the public-facing user can only view and download the first uploaded document.
- Required - If checked, the public-facing user must upload a document to proceed.
- Click OK.

- NOTE: Existing File Upload Configurations may be edited, but changes to Document Category are discouraged.
