Momentus Phone is a small-screen-optimized version of Momentus Enterprise. Due to the limitations of screen size, not all functions are available in Phone. A user's access to features in Momentus Phone is based on their existing Role Access Management. For more information see Access Management Overview
To grant user access to Momentus Phone:
- From the Main Menu, search for and select Phone/Mobile Features. The Phone/Mobile Features page opens.
- Select Momentus Phone.
- In the right side of the page, select the Users tab.
- Click Manage. The Manage Feature Users window opens.
- In the Available section on the left, select the users to allow access. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple users.
- Click the single right arrow button to move the users to the Selected section of the window.
- Click Save.
- From the Main Menu, search for and select Users. The Users page opens.
- Grant the users the mobile access:
- For a single user:
- Select the user.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit User window opens.
- Select the Access and Security tab.
- Check the Phone/Mobile Access check box.
- Click OK.
- For multiple users:
- Select the users using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click.
- Right-click and select Edit Multiple. The Edit Multiple Users window opens.
- Expand the Access and Security section.
- Check the Phone/Mobile Access check box.
- Select Yes from the drop-down.
- Click OK.
- For a single user:
Once a user is granted access to Momentus Phone, they will log in on their phone to Momentus Enterprise using your regular Enterprise URL and their existing login credentials. They will be automatically redirected to the Phone site.
To see the Phone site on your desktop computer, click into the address bar in your browser. At the end of your Enterprise URL add ?phone=y
. If you have access to Phone, you'll be redirected to the Phone site (you may have to re-enter your username and password).
