There are three ways to authenticate users against a v30 database:
- AD USI (ADU) - Legacy Momentus Enterprise authentication method. Required for logging into the CloudX.ungerboeck.net sites for Crystal Report modification.
- Momentus (USI) - Password-based and authenticates against the Momentus Enterprise database. It acts similarly to Active Directory.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) - SSO runs on SAML2, and is an additional licensed module. SSO allows your Enterprise users to log in with their SAML credentials. Supported SSO identity providers include Azure AD, OKTA, F5, ForgeRock, and Shibboleth.
To define authentication configurations by user, additional configuration is needed by the Momentus Cloud IT Team. Enter a ticket with your the Support Services team to change your authentication method. This is done automatically if your organization purchases SSO.
