You use job rankings to help prioritize jobs. You can sort by the assigned ranking to determine the order to complete jobs.
Add a Job Ranking
- Click the Event/Job Rankings link from the Main Menu. The Event/Job Rankings page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Event/Job Ranking window opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Description - Name of the event ranking.
- Code - Unique alphanumeric value.
- Click OK.
Change a Job Ranking
You can change the description of an existing job ranking. When you change the description of a job ranking, it updates wherever the job ranking is used. If you don't want to update the existing job ranking data, you must add a new job ranking using the steps in Add a Job Ranking.
- Click the Event/Job Rankings link from the Main Menu. The Event/Job Rankings page opens.
- Select the job ranking to edit.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Event/Job Ranking window opens.
- Update the description.
- Click OK.
Delete a Job Ranking
If you no longer use a job ranking and don't want to keep a record of it, you can delete it. When you delete a job ranking that is used, you receive a prompt to select a job ranking to replace the job ranking you are deleting. You cannot undo the delete or delete and replace process.
- Click the Event/Job Rankings link from the Main Menu. The Event/Job Rankings page opens.
- Right-click on the job ranking to delete.
- Select Mark for Delete.
- Click the Save button. If the job ranking is used, the Replace window opens.
- Select the job ranking from the drop-down to replace the deleted job ranking.
- Click OK.
