iEBMS passwords can be created individually or en masse. For the steps to create an iEBMS password for an individual, click here.
To create iEBMS passwords en masse for contacts, see below:
1. From any Contacts screen within the software, export the contact list to Excel. Ensure the Account Code and Last Name columns display on the Contacts screen and are included in the export. To do this, click the Tools button and select Export to Excel.
2. Save the Excel file as a CSV file.
3. In the Excel file, create a new column for the password. Enter the password for each contact into the appropriate cell or use a basic formula to create a random or patterned password. For more information on generating random passwords using a basic formula, click here.
4. Within Momentus Enterprise, from the Main Menu, click the Import Accounts and Contacts link for the appropriate designation for the contacts.
5. Click the Add Import icon. The Add Import screen opens.
6. Enter the necessary information for the import and click Next.
7. On Step One, click the icon. The Set Default Import Values screen opens.
8. On the General tab, verify the Flag Individual Account as Internet Logon check box is checked.
9. Click OK.
10. On Step Two, click the icon. The EBMS Import Wizard screen opens.
11. On the EBMS Import Wizard screen, map the appropriate columns from the import file. The Account Code, Last Name and Password columns are the minimum required columns. Map the Password column to Internet Password.
12. Process the Import file. Once the file is imported into Momentus Enterprise the contacts have the passwords from the Excel file assigned to their accounts.
Notes:
- iEBMS passwords are encrypted and cannot be displayed or viewed in Enterprise.
- If an iEBMS password needs to be sent to a contact via e-mail, it is recommended to import the contacts as described above; however, in the Excel file, duplicate the password column. Map the original password column to Internet Password and map the duplicate column to Account Search. When the contact records are imported, they will be imported with the password in the Account Search field. You can then create an email template that includes the Account Search wildcard and can be sent to the contacts en mass.
- Unchecking and rechecking the Internet Logon field on an account or contact will reset the password to a random value.

Hello, the link above does not take you anywhere. Does anyone have the instructions for assigning the passwords to a contact? Thank you.

Hi Eileen,
The reset password process for a public facing site will differ depending on if you are using public facing v20 or iEBMS.
If you are using public facing v20 (v20 registration, ESC, Exhibitor Portal, etc.), follow these steps:
1. Sign into Ungerboeck Software as an administrator.
2. From the Main Menu, select the Users link.
3. On the Users link, locate the public facing user. Make sure your Access Level filter on this screen has Public selected so you can see these records. Also use the name and/or email search fields to also more easily find the user.
4. Select the user, right-click, select Tools and one of the following:
To reset the password for iEBMS, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the appropriate Contacts screen (Event Sales, etc.).
2. Select the contact, right-click and select Tools -> Change Internet Password (v19). The Change Internet Password screen opens.
3. Enter the new password into the New Password field and confirm the new password in the Confirm New Password field.
4. Click OK.
Beginning in v20.9, this password process has been consolidated and will only use the Change Internet Password screen to maintain both iEBMS and public facing v20 passwords.
I will update this article to remove the incorrect link and create new articles for updating passwords but wanted to get this info to you ASAP.
Thanks,
Maggie
