Session Analytics
Momentus is using Fullstory to capture user session data to help improve the product. This will help us to troubleshoot customer-reported issues by highlighting the context of each reported issue, which often leads to understanding the cause. This will also help our product and user experience teams to determining future roadmaps. For example, if we need to measure how often users are having issues with a specific process, we can look at user sessions to help us understand the circumstance of the issue and how we can adapt the functionality to better serve our users.
We have added a user configuration for Fullstory in order to disable collection of these session analytics. See Disable Session Analytics for instructions to disable this as an individual user or on the entire site for all users.
Changed
Angular Upgrade Affecting Public-Facing Applications
We have updated the Angular framework in all public-facing applications from v16 to v18. This upgrade includes security fixes as well as changes to component and style structures. Affected applications include:
- Suites Invites
- Event Portal
- Online Space Booking
- Account Portal
- Web Form Leads
- Web Themes
- Payment Portal
- E-payment
- Online Event Orders
- Operations Portal
- Sandbox
This update brings differences in the Material Design component and style structures; if you use custom HTML or CSS, it should be tested before upgrading. More specific information can be found in Prepare for your 2024.3 Upgrade.
DocuSign Integration
DocuSign users will now be logged out after sending a document for electronic signature. This change was made to address changes made by DocuSign in a recent release.
Improved
Accounts and Contacts
In A/R Demographics, a warning will appear if an invalid email address is entered. Email addresses must contain the @ symbol as well as a top-level domain (.com, .edu, .co.uk, and so on).
Accounts Payable
If you issue vouchers with discounts but those discounts should only apply if the voucher is paid before the net due date, we have introduced a new setting to automate the process of removing those discounts. A new setting has been added to the Accounts Payable Configuration: Discount Past Due Setting. The available settings are:
- Do Not Discount: If the voucher is being paid after the Net Due Date, the discount will be removed when the voucher is selected for payment.
- Default to Full Discount: The full discount will be kept on the voucher.
Note the user can override the discount manually with either setting.
This new setting will be set to Default to Full Discount at the time of release, since that behavior matches the current behavior in the application. To update the setting, navigate to the Accounts Payable Configuration window. Add the Discount Past Due Setting field to your layout (we recommend on the Vouchers and 1099 Values tab). Update the setting as needed and click OK.
Styling has also been added to the vouchers. Vouchers will be red if past the net due date but they will be orange if they are past the net due date and have a discount.
Other AP updates:
- A new audit log has been added to track when a voucher is deleted: Voucher Delete. See Voucher Processing (Supplier Invoices) for information about deleting vouchers and Audit Log Tracking for general instructions to activate an audit log.
- The organization parameter AP310 Supplier Bank Account Approval Enabled can now be set from the Accounts Payable Configuration window. The Supplier Bank Account Approval Enabled field will need to be added to your layout. This field is a checkbox; checking the box is equivalent to a value of Y in the organization parameter field. For more information about this setting, see Approve Bank Information Changes on a Supplier Account.
Exhibitor Service Center
Online orders will now be charged based on the date the order is placed rather than when the items were added to the Exhibitor Service Center cart. If a user places items in their cart during an advance pricing period (for example) but returns to finalize their purchase outside that window, the rates on those items will be recalculated.
Fixed Assets
When asset transactions are posted and all of the transactions are a zero value, a journal will not be created. Before this change, asset disposals with no profit or losses were creating zero-dollar journal entries automatically.
Functions
On the Bookings and Functions pages, a new option Turn Off Text Wrapping has been added to the right-click menu. When text wrapping is on, the differences in row heights can cause the grid to jump as you tab to the next cell. If you experience this issue, you can now turn off text wrapping while you are editing.
Phone
The following filters have been added to Payables Inquiry/Open Payables in Phone mode to assist with approval workflows: Approval Level, Approval Status, Department, and Next Approver.
Suite Management
A new system parameter has been added: ZZ600. Once added and is set to Y (the default), creation of new orders through Suites will calculate the Pickup Date/Time (in BackOffice) using the order's start date/time. The start time and pickup time of Service Order Items now match each other. If the value is anything other than Y, then it will use the order's end date/time and the resource minutes. This parameter does not impact Mobile Work Orders calculating the pickup date/time.
System Administration
A new audit log has been added to track when a voucher is deleted: Voucher Delete. See Voucher Processing (Supplier Invoices) for information about deleting vouchers and Audit Log Tracking for general instructions to activate an audit log.
System Health Check
We have added additional functionality to the System Health Check scan:
- The health check will now look for errors in Email and Merge Templates and WordMerge Templates, and will show users where a problem has occurred.
- We have now added a check for retired users who still have licenses attached to their profile. This will ensure you are making the most of your licenses.
For more about System Health Checks, see System Health Check.
API
Additional API support for CRM systems and Property Management Systems has been added:
- Added API support for Alternate Addresses.
- Added API support for Activities on Event Opportunities.
- Added API support for managing Rank, Bid Due Date, Business Type, and Lead Source on Event Opportunities.
- Added API support for searching for accounts via postal code and state as a combination.
