Risk Profiles are used to determine if a formal risk assessment is needed for an event. The risk profile includes a questionnaire specific to the event's type that produces a risk profile score, indicating whether further assessment is advised. You are able to define the questions, score for each answer, and the overall ranking of scores and recommended actions in your Risk Settings.

Build your Risk Profile Score
As you create Risk Profiling Questions, you will label each possible answer as no risk, low risk, moderate risk, and so on. You are able to define the numeric score associated with each of these labels. The score is calculated based on the total scores for all questions divided by the number of questions within the profiler.
Define Answer Scores
In the Answer Score Definitions section, select a numeric score for each label from the dropdown. These scores will apply to all answers with the label across all event types. Labels will have these scores by default:
- No Risk: 0 (cannot be changed)
- Low: 20
- Moderate: 40
- Medium: 60
- High: 80
- Significant: 100
Changes are saved automatically.
Define the Acceptability Matrix
Once an event questionnaire has been completed, the score will be used to determine the risk status for the event. In the Acceptability Matrix, you define what range of score is a minimal risk, what is an acceptable risk, and so on. By default, the Risk Definitions will have these score ranges:
- Minimal: 1-20
- Acceptable: 21-40
- Tolerable: 41-60
- High: 61-80
- Extreme: 81-100
To update the score ranges:
- In the Acceptability Matrix section, click in the Risk Score Range field for each Risk Definition.
- Slide the selector to the upper and lower scores of the range.
- Click Save.
Build Your Risk Profiling Questionnaire
Now that you've defined your scoring system, you build the list of questions that will make up the questionnaire for each event type. Questions can also be added individually to an event.
These questions will be included by default. They can be edited or removed:
- Predominant age
- Expected crowd type
- Length of event
- Expected percentage of venue capacity
