EZWriter reports results can be displayed online as a webpage. This is helpful if you would like to share the report results with people that do not have a login to the Momentus Enterprise application.
This could be executive-level reports for colleagues that do not login to Enterprise. Or this could be used to share sales numbers with a client. By displaying the results as a webpage you do not need to run a report each week or month and send the report results to the appropriate person. Instead, you can give them a URL, and each time they visit the page they will see the latest report results.
To publish the EZWriter reports a webpage first create the desired EZWriter Merge Data Source and EZWriter Merge Data Format. Then navigate to the main menu and search for EZWriter Page Builder (this is a v19 window and requires iEBMS to be installed).
In the EZWriter Page Builder Configuration window click the plus icon to create a new webpage. Enter a code and description for the new page.
If the webpage should only display the results from 1 EZWriter Merge Data Format, you can select the desired format from the Data Format drop-down. Alternatively, you can display multiple data formats on 1 webpage by right-clicking within the large text area and selecting Add Data Format. Select the desired Data Formats and position them appropriately on the page.
If you are using the text area you can also add/format additional text like a title, instructions, links to other pages, etc.
If the data format(s) you have selected use parameters in the data source, check the “Allow parameters to be passed in the URL” checkbox.
When complete, click Apply. The URL for the new webpage will be created automatically and displayed at top of the screen. Click the link to view the results.
Once the webpage has been created you can share the URL for this page with others via email. If this is public information you could add this URL to an existing page on your company website.

Hello,
Is there a list with valid parameters to be passed in the URL?
Example: if my Merge Data Source has a parameter @Event, @Account or @Registration, how would the URL to call the WRI page look like?
Thanks a lot

Any parameter added to the Merge Data Source is a valid parameter in the iEBMS WRI page. The easiest way to see what the URL parameters will look like is to create the WRI page and add the desired Merge Data Format. After clicking Apply, the URL will be added to the top of the window. If you click on the URL you will be prompted to fill in the parameter values. After entering the parameter values the webpage will open. You can look at the URL to see how the parameters and their values are formatted.

Hello Alex,
thanks for the feedback.
I looked at the resulting URL when entering the parameters in the popup when clicking the link:
http://server/wri/wri_p1_display.aspx?oc=10&cc=CONF&parm=@REGISTRATION&value=00000163&parm=@ORGANIZATION&value=10&parm=@EVENT&value=5006
So I suppose we always need to use the syntax:
...&parm=<@PARM_NAME_1>&value=<ASSOCIATED\_VALUE\_1>&...&parm=<@PARM_NAME_n>&value=<ASSOCIATED\_VALUE\_n>
Thanks a lot

Hi,
There isn't a replacement yet. WRI is still supported though.
Thanks,
Maggie
