When building an EZWriter webpage, there is an option to add a Logon to the page. There are two primary ways to use this functionality.
Use the Logon to restrict access to information
As the logon used for EZWriter is an iEBMS Logon configuration, there are a large number of options for restricting who can log on and view the EZWriter page. For example, you could limit the logon to only Personnel accounts and provide a page with internal information for your staff.
Use the logon to display information for a single person
When a logon is selected and "allow parameters to be passed in the URL" is checked, you will be able to use the logged in user's account code in your data source. All you have to do is include @ACCOUNT as a parameter in your data source. The account code will be the value from EV870_ACCT_CODE, which is used in many database tables under many different names. For example, you may filter on ER100_ORD_ACCT to find all orders for the logged in account.
When providing the link to your EZWriter page, leave out the @ACCOUNT parameter, otherwise users will see the same information, regardless of who is logged in.
