Link a Purchase Order Item to a Fixed Asset Item

When adding a purchasing order, you can link the purchase order item to a specific asset. In the Add Purchase Order Item screen, there is a field named Asset. The asset field is a drop-down with all the active assets from the Asset Register. Once you link an asset to a purchase order, the information flows to accounts payable voucher processing and, from there, you can import the asset into the Asset Register.
