The Contact Us Configuration allows you to customize the Contact Us feature that appears on public-facing applications. When a logged in user uses the Contact Us feature, an activity is created in the software.
To create a Contact Us Configuration:
- Click the Contact Us Configurations link from the Main Menu. The Contact Us Configurations page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Contact Us Configuration window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Description - Name of the configuration.
- Activity Type – Activity type for the activities created. The Activity Type description is used as the subject line for the email sent from the Contact Us button.
- Activity Recipient – Who receives the activity.
- Activity Default Recipient – Who receives the activity if Activity Default Recipient is selected in the Activity Recipient drop-down or if it is left blank.
- Activity Response Due Date – Number of days to add to the current date (date the activity is created) to determine the activity due date.
- Retire – If checked, the Contact Us Configuration is not available for selection in public-facing application configurations.
- Expand the Email Settings section.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Send Confirmation Email - If checked, the logged in user is sent an email confirming the message was sent.
- Confirmation Template – Email template for the confirmation email.
- Sent From Email – Email address used as the From email address for the confirmation email.
- Bcc Email – Email address blind copied on the confirmation email.
- Bcc the Event Coordinator – If checked, the event coordinator is blind copied on the confirmation email.
- Bcc the Event Rep – If checked, the event rep is blind copied on the confirmation email.
- Bcc the Account Rep - If checked, the account rep is blind copied on the confirmation email.
- Bcc the Exhibitor Salesperson - If checked, the exhibitor salesperson is blind copied on the confirmation email.
- Expand the Interests section. You can use the Interests section to collect more information about the logged in users’ interests such as sponsorships, upcoming shows, local attractions, etc.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Click the Add button. The Add Interest window opens.
- Enter the name of the interest in the Description field.
- Order interests by entering a number into the Sort Sequence field (1 for first, 2 for second, etc.).
- Click OK.
- Click OK on the Edit Contact Us Configuration screen.
