Document Organization Parameters

The following organization parameters are applicable to documents:

Turn off Import Document Heading (AA 158)
This parameters determines if the Heading field defaults to the last selected value. If blank or N, the system defaults the document heading to the last selected value when importing documents. If set to Y, the system does not retain the last selected value for the document heading when importing documents. 

If this parameter is missing or contains invalid values, the system defaults the document heading to the last selected value when importing documents.

Check Event Security When Adding/Editing Documents (EM 030)
This parameter determines if event security is checked when adding/editing a document attached to an event. If blank or set to N, event security is not checked when adding/editing a document. If set to Y, event security is checked (Event Modification by Event Status Limit, Event Modification by Account Rep and Event Modification by Coordinator). If a user does not have the appropriate event access when adding/editing an event document, the user is stopped from adding/editing the document.

If this parameter is missing or contains invalid values, event security is not checked when adding/editing a document attached to an event.

Use Event Document Security (EM 035)
This parameter determines if the Allow Event Modification by Coordinator access privileges is used to control document access. If blank or set to N, Allow Event Modification by Coordinator access is not used for document access. If set to Y, the Allow Event Modification by Coordinator access privilege hides documents associated with events that a user does not have access to modify. If a user is assigned View Only access to these events, he/she is able to see the documents but not edit them. 

If this parameter is missing or contains invalid values, Allow Event Modification by Coordinator access is not used for document access.
