Lead statuses indicate where a lead is in the overall process. There are two levels to lead statuses: lead status class and the lead status. You must assign every lead status to a lead status class.
The lead status class allows you to group together lead statuses. The lead status class values are hard-coded and cannot be edited. An example of lead statuses with lead status classes:

- New (Lead Status)
- Working (Lead Status)
- Disqualified (Class)
- Lost (Lead Status)
- Cannot Contact (Lead Status)
- No Longer Interested (Lead Status)
- Not a Good Fit (Lead Status)
- Cancelled (Lead Status)
- Qualified (Class)
- Converted (Class)
