Room diagrams are used to create different room layouts for event spaces. You may want to have layouts for different types of events, such as classroom layouts, banquet layouts, or conference layouts, and room diagrams are the way to accomplish this. You can export room diagrams to a PDF to share with your customers, third party contractors, the fire marshal, etc.
There are a few steps to creating room diagrams:
- Create Space Diagrams
- Add Room Layouts
- Build Room Diagrams
To use room diagrams, you first create space diagrams. Start with creating an empty space diagram for each space in your venue that contains the building lines. See below for an example of an empty space diagram.
The empty space diagram acts as a template so you can create room layouts for the space. The items you place on your room diagram (tables, chairs, stage pieces, screens, etc.) are called diagram items. You can use the already existing Enterprise diagram items, located in the Enterprise Shape Library, or you can draw or import your own diagram items. The example below shows a banquet room layout using the empty space diagram from above.
After you create all the room layouts for your space, you can then use those to build room diagrams for specific events. The example below uses the banquet room layout to create the room diagram for the event. Notice that some banquet tables were removed, rectangular tables added, and a stage has been included.
See Room Diagrams for more information about adding and using room diagrams in Momentus Enterprise.

A couple questions...
1) Is it possible to export room diagrams in any other format and if so, which ones?
2) It is possible to export room diagrams using the API?

Dear Support-Team,
is it possible, to add an articel/thread about the Grid, Grid-Settings, Snap-Settings, etc?
If you set the grid on 0,5 - it shows 0 (zero) in the field:
if you set "snap to grid" with a 1,5 grid, the snap is anywhere between the grid:
Its a miracle what impact the Snap-Settings have... :-)
...so I think, there are some bugs but maybe we just don't understand it - thats why a separate section to that topic would be helpful...
thanks a lot and kind regards, Samuel

Hi Samuel,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There is a current article on Snap settings which you can find here, however I have added your suggestions to a list of articles to be updated.
Best regards,
Jodi
