Use the Labels feature in Room Diagramming to number tables and other diagram items in your drawing.
First, ensure table numbers are enabled (this is the default setting). To enable table numbers (labels) to display on a room diagram:
- Click the Display menu tab.
- Click the Show Label toggle. It is enabled when the button is highlighted.
To number tables or other items on a diagram:
- Click and drag to select all items to be numbered.
- Click the Tools menu.
- Click Number Tables. The Table Numbering window opens.
- Select the item type to number. This only applies when the selection includes multiple item types, like tables AND chairs (in this example the user would select "tables").
- Enter the Starting Number.
- Select the Numbering Style:
- Zig-Zag pattern - Follows a continuous snaking pattern such as left-to-right, then right-to-left, and so on.
- Theater Style - Restarts numbering at the same side for each row.
- Select Numbering Pattern. Options will change based on Numbering Style Selection.
- Enter any numbers you wish to skip in your pattern. Multiple skip numbers can be entered separated by a comma (,).
- Click OK.
Note: If your selection includes multiple item types, you will be required to configure the numbering for each item type separately.
