When developing and testing your iEBMS Presentation, you may come across a situation where your web browser displays a security warning. Depending on your browser version, this warning may be in the form of a pop-up dialog box, a message at the bottom of the browser window, or a little warning icon next to the web page URL in the browser's address bar.
In most cases, this warning appears because you are loading a secure (HTTPS) web page, but some of your web page assets (images/JavaScript/CSS/etc) are being loaded over a non-secure protocol (HTTP).
Depending on your iEBMS configuration, your iEBMS web pages will switch from non-secure (HTTP) to secure (HTTPS) when your users are being asked for sensitive pieces of information such as Credit Card details. When this security warning appears, any web savvy user will be cautious about providing these sensitive pieces of information, and you may lose potential business as a result. Therefore, you want to remove these security warnings wherever possible.
To avoid these security warnings appearing when loading your iEBMS web pages, it is recommended that you put all of your web page assets (images/JavaScript/CSS/etc) onto a secure server (HTTPS), and update your iEBMS Presentation files to point to the HTTPS location/s accordingly.
