While working with iEBMS, there may be times when you need to add an additional static web page to your website. This might be to display additional terms and conditions, provide lodging or direction information, or any other additional information that cannot be displayed via one of the standard iEBMS configurations.
One way to host a static HTML file is to use the EZWriter Page Builder feature as described in the following steps:
- Go to the v19 Main Menu.
- On the left-hand-side, select iEBMS (if you don't see this option in the menu, ensure that you have the appropriate permissions to view this menu option).
- On the right-hand-side, click on the EZWriter Page Builder (WRI) option.
The EZWriter Page Builder Configuration Master window should open. - Go to the Options menu and select Add...
The Add EZWriter Page Builder Configuration window should open. - Enter a Code and Description and click the Apply button.
Your EZWriter Page Builder configuration should now have a Web Link. - Take note of the Web Link as this will be the link that you can use to get the EZWriter web page that we are creating.
- Enter the content/HTML of your web page that you are creating by using the fields on either the Text or HTML tabs.
- Once you have finished entering your content and/or HTML, click the Apply button.
- Click the Web Link to view the page in your browser.
You can also apply iEBMS Presentation to an EZWriter configuration if required by going to the Options menu and selecting Presentation.
To link to the page that you have just created, you can use the following piece of code:
<a href="[insert your EZWriter Web Link here]">Click Here</a>
If you would like the EZWriter web page to open in a new window/tab, you can use the following piece of code:
<a href="[insert your EZWriter Web Link here]" target="_blank">Click Here</a>
The EZWriter Web Link can be used in several locations throughout your iEBMS configurations, such as within a Note or within a Dictionary Phrase.
