Some firewalls and spam filters block emails from the Momentus Cloud because they do not originate from the same IP address as your domain name.
Momentus provides our users with outgoing email capabilities from the software. The Momentus Cloud team recently implemented SendGrid, a leader in trusted email delivery for many large companies and organizations. Momentus customers benefit from SendGrid’s automated security, in which they fully manage the SPF and DKIM records to prevent phishing and spoofing. SendGrid allows Momentus to authenticate your domain(s) by setting up DNS records which allows SendGrid to send emails on your behalf.
To migrate your organization to SendGrid, enter a ticket with your regional Support Services team to notify them that you would like to move to SendGrid. You do need to engage your email team as changes to DNS are necessary.
See Momentus Email Handling for additional technical information about how Momentus handles email from the Cloud environment.

If you're still in the Amazon EC2 environment (accessed at https://hosted.ungerboeck.com), you will need to add this IP address:
23.21.201.230

Hi Kieron,
I've updated the article with the appropriate IP addresses for each hosting location. It looks like you are hosted in our Sydney Amazon VPC, so 54.252.177.62 is one of the mail servers that the mail could be sent from. The other is 54.252.156.126.

Hi Hussain,
Can you send over the URL that your organization uses to log in, and we can verify that you have the correct settings in your SPF?
Thanks,

Hotmail.com / Live.com / Outlook.com are blocking emails from Australia Ungerboeck IP addresses due to customer feedback on Junk Items. We need a fix in place for this ASAP as all our emails are going to spam.

Hi David - sorry to hear that! Your best bet would be to enter a ticket with your regional Client Care team. From there, we can research the blocks and get it taken care of.
Thanks!

HI Sara,
if your domain is hosted on google or you are using google email services, you may need to add the public address of your domain into the SPF records in your public folder.
Hope it helps.

Dear Hussain,
I’m not sure I understand what you mean,
My domain is hosted on outlook, but I tried to send an email from Ungerboeck to my personal email address (Gmail) and that’s when it didn’t work.
Does this fix only work for the domain you added the TXT code to ?
Thanks for your reply in advance,
Kind Regards,
Sana

Hi Sara,
Usually in this case the email supposed to be appearing coming from the email address configured in Ungerboeck..When Gmail looks at the header of the email to compare the email originating + Sender address and recipient address, it doesn't match the domains. Ungerboeck uses public address doesn't belongs to your domain, and thats the reason Gmail doesn;t accept the email / deliver the email at Junk.
To resolve that, you will need to access your Public DNS, create a txt/SPF records and add public address of Ungerboeck servers; TXT v=spf1 ip4 52.xxx.xxx.xxx ip4:54.xxx.xxx.xxx ip4:54.xxx.xxx.xxx
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Hussain
