You can copy service orders, including forecast and revised forecast orders, to create new orders for the same event and function or to create new orders for different events and functions. You cannot copy booking orders since they are created and maintained as part of the booking process.
To copy a service order:
- Click the Events button from the Global Navigation Bar. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event with the order(s) to copy.
- Select the Service Orders tab from the right side of the screen.
- Select the order(s) to copy. Copy multiple orders using Ctrl + Click or Shift + Click.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Copy. The Copy Order(s) screen opens.
- Select the necessary information:
- Event – Event to copy the order(s) to.
- Date & Time Options - Date and time for the new service order items:
- Keep Original Dates & Times - Uses the service order item dates and times from the service order you are copying.
- Peg Dates & Times to Target Function - Defaults the service order item dates and times to the selected function dates and times.
- Peg Dates & Times - Uses the entered date and time as the start date and time and calculates the end date and time using the days/time elapsed on the original order item(s). For example, a service order item on the original order ordered for 12/19/25 - 12/20/25 and from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Enter a Peg Date of 11/28/26 and Peg Time of 2:00 pm. The new service order item date range is 11/28/26 - 11/29/26, and the new service order item time is 2:00 pm and end time is 4:00 pm.
- Set Dates & Times - Defaults the service order item dates and times to the entered date and time.
- Booths, Documents, Order Items, Diary and User Defined Fields - If checked, any information on the order is copied to the new order.
- Order Class - Only applicable when using exhibitor service orders. Select if the new order is an exhibitor order, non-exhibitor order or uses the same order class as the copied order (Do Not Change Original).
- Order Status - Status for the new order.
- Create Payment Plan(s) - If checked, new payment plan(s) are created for each new order.
- Price List - Select if the new order uses the price list from the copied order (Use Order) or the price list assigned to the event (Use Destination Event).
- Order Rep - Select if the new order(s) uses the rep assigned to the copied order (Original Rep) or the current user (Current User).
- Functions Tab - All the available functions for the event of the copied order display. Select the function(s) for the new order(s). Select multiple functions using Ctrl + Click or Shift + Click.
- Click OK to copy the order(s) and close the screen. Click Save and Add Items to copy the order and open the Edit Service Order screen so you can add additional items or update the existing items on the new order.
