Apply or Change a Promo Code

You can apply a promo code or change the promo code for a registration order from Momentus Enterprise back office. The below steps assume promo codes are already available and configured for the event.

To apply a promo code on a registration order:

  1. Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
  2. Select the event with the registration order for the promo code.
  3. Right-click and select Edit -> Edit. The Edit Event screen opens.
  4. Select the Registration Orders tab.
  5. Select the registration order for the promo code.
  6. Right-click and select Add -> Add Promo Discount. The Promo Discount screen opens.
  7. Select the promo code from the drop-down.
  8. Click Continue. The promo code is added to the order.

To change the promo code on a registration order:

  1. Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
  2. Select the event with the registration order with the promo code.
  3. Right-click and select Edit -> Edit. The Edit Event screen opens.
  4. Select the Registration Orders tab.
  5. Select the registration order with the promo code.
  6. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Registration Order screen opens.
  7. Remove the promo code from the Promotion drop-down. You may need to add this field to your screen layout.
  8. Select the Registration Order Items tab.
  9. Select the promo discount resource.
  10. Right-click and select Mark for Delete.
  11. Click the Save (disk) button.
  12. Click the Add drop-down at the top of the Edit Registration Order screen.
  13. Select Add Promo Discount. The Promo Discount screen opens.
  14. Select the promo code from the drop-down.
  15. Click Continue. The new promo code is added to the order.

    Can a registrant use multiple promo codes at a time? Or is limited to one and done?

    They are currently limited to a single Promo Code.

    is there a work around? putting one promo code on the event and one on the function?

    No, you can only use 1 Promo Code at this time.

    This may change in the future, but for now, you can only apply 1 Promo Code to a Registration Order.
