Rather than building a user's or role's access privileges from the start, you are able to copy access privileges from user to user and from role to role.
Copying access privileges to a user or role will overwrite any access privileges already on that user or role. This cannot be undone.

Copy Access Privileges to Users
Access Privileges can be copied from one user to another user or to multiple users. When you copy the access privileges, this will overwrite the existing privileges on the receiving user.
- Navigate to the Users page and select the user with the access privileges you want to copy from.
- Right-click and select Tools > Copy Access Privileges to User. The Advanced Search Users window opens.
- Select the users to assign the copied access privileges. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple users.
- Click Select. A message displays confirming the copy access privilege process.
- Click Continue.
Copy Access Privileges to Roles
You can copy the access privileges assigned to a role to another role or to multiple roles. When you copy the access privileges, this will overwrite the existing privileges on the receiving role.
- Navigate to the Roles page and select the role with the access privileges to copy.
- Right-click and select Tools > Copy Access Privileges to Role. The Advanced Search Roles window opens.
- Select the roles to assign the copied access privileges. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple roles.
- Click Select. A message displays confirming the copy access privilege process.
- Click Continue.
