You can allow registrants to add additional registrants to their order. For example, if one person is registering himself/herself and their colleagues for a conference.
- Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events page opens.
- Select the event to allow adding of additional registrants.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Setup. The Edit Registration Setup window opens.
- Select the Registration Form Setup tab.
- Expand the Adding Additional Registrants section.
- Configure the necessary information:
- Allow selecting registrant from a list of related – If checked, the person registering can select the additional registrant from a list of accounts related to his/her account. If the person registering is using the sign up process, no related accounts show as he/she is creating an account for the first time.
- Allow adding new account for additional registrant – If checked, the person registering can add a new account for the additional registrant.
- Allow searching accounts/contacts for registrant – If checked, the person registering can search accounts in the database. The Search across drop-down becomes available to determine which accounts are available for searching. Select the desired option:
- All active registration accounts – Searches all accounts in the database with an Active status for the Registration designation.
- A specific campaign – Searches across a campaign. Select the campaign from the drop-down that appears when you select this option.
- All Related Contacts- Searches across contacts related to the person logged into public registration.
- Registrant Search Fields – Search fields available to the person searching for the additional registrant account.
- Registrant Results Fields – Registrant fields to display in the search results.
- Allow Copying of Items From Another Registrant – If checked, when the person registering clicks the Add Additional Registrant button, he/she receives a prompt asking if he/she wants to copy the items from an existing registrant to the new registrant.
- Click OK.
