Exhibitor Service Center Image Recommendations

When using images in the Exhibitor Service Center, keep the following in mind:

• Aspect Ratio
  • 3:2 images should work well.
  • 16:9 images also work well with some cropping already handled by the CSS. This ratio is just more common for images.
• Pixel Dimensions
  • These thumbnail images display at about 195x130 pixels in size (this is a 3:2 aspect ratio mentioned earlier).
• Data Size
  • Keep the thumbnail images as small as possible in data size for performance reasons.

The Tile images are the only images with limits on them. These images are cropped by CSS to the dimensions mentioned above (3:2). Related Item Tiles also use the same dimensions (3:2). 

To upload multiple images for an item, add the 2nd Image, 3rd Image, 4th Image and 5th Image fields to the Add/Edit Resource screen. You can then add images the same way as you do with the main image and thumbnail images.

Image Ratio/Dimensions

You can make the images on the product detail page any size you want (while keeping the aspect ratio in mind). These images when on the modal are sized down and padded by the server to make them fit. When you click to enlarge one of those images, it shows the original full-size image and aspect ratio in a pop-up screen. It is still a good idea to keep these image files small in data size for performance but with a decent resolution for the enlarged image.
