Momentus Enterprise can be used to track, manage, and report on Continuing Education Credits. Credits can be assigned to Registrant Types or Functions, depending on your needs. If Credits should only be awarded to registrants for attending the event, the suggested set up would be to add the Credit to the Registrant Type. If you need to assign a Credit based on each function attended on the event, add the Credit to the Function.
To set a credit on a Registrant Type do the following:
- Navigate to your event and go to Tools – Registration Setup
- On the Pricing tab add or edit your Registrant Type.
- Go to the Settings tab and enter a numerical value in the Credit field (Note: You may need to add the field to your layout if not visible). This number should represent the number of credits the registrant should receive when choosing this Registrant Type.
To set a credit on the Function do the following:
- Navigate to your event and go to Tools – Registration Setup
- On the Pricing tab add or edit your function
- In the More Options section enter a numerical value in the Credit Field. (Note: You may need to add the field to your layout if not visible). This number should represent the number of credits the Registrant should receive when choosing this function.
Assigning How Credits are Awarded
Now that you have Credits set up on your Registrant Type or Function you need to set how Credits are awarded. This cannot be changed once there are orders on the event. To do this go do the following:
- Navigate to your event and go to Tools – Registration Setup
- Expand the More Settings section.
- Choose an option for Credits Awarded On
- Check-In: Credits will only be awarded when a registrant is checked into an event or function
- Registration: Credits will be awarded immediately upon registration
Viewing and Reporting on Education Credits
Once you have registrants on the event you can display all the Education Credits awarded on the event. Please note: If you are awarding Credits upon check-in, the Credits will not be visible until the registrant is checked in. To do so, do the following:
- Navigate to the event and go to the Education Credits tab. You may need to modify your layout if you do not see the Education Credits tab.
- You’ll be presented with a grid that lists all registrants and the Education Credits they have been awarded.

"Through the use of custom reports or template documents, CEU certificates can be created, pulling from registrant, event and account details." -- Is there a way to generate a group of the certificates and send via email to each of the participants?

Yes, this can be done. Standard reports can be mass issued from the registrants page/list including the registrant confirmation, proforma invoice, etc. The custom CEU report would simply need to be developed so the mass issue capability of our standard reports is used on this custom report as well. USI technical services can work with you to make this happen.
