Accounts placed on hold:

- Event information cannot be updated if the account is the event bill-to account
Place an Account on Hold or Warn
- Click the link for the appropriate Accounts screen for the designation from the Main Menu. In this example, we use the Accounts - Event Sales screen.
- Select the account to place at Warn or Hold.
- Right-click and select View -> A/R Demographics. The A/R Demographics screen opens.
- Select the Hold/Warn status from the Hold Orders drop-down.
- Yes - Places the account on hold and prevents anyone from adding new service orders where the account is the bill-to account. A red icon displays next to the account on account display screens throughout the system.
- Warn - Places the account on warn and displays a yellow icon next to the account on the account display screens throughout the system. There are no restrictions or warning when adding new orders for the account.
- No - Removes the warn or hold on the account.
- If desired, enter a note with the reason for the hold or warn if desired into the AR Note field. You can configure default Hold and Warn notes on the Accounts Receivable Configuration screen.
- Click OK.
Hold and Warn Security
You can prevent your users from changing an account's Hold and/or Warn status using the Allow Update of Receivable Demographics access privilege. If this access privilege is active, users and/or roles assigned to the privilege are able to update the Hold/Warn status for an account while any users and/or roles not assigned to the privilege are not able to update the Hold/Warn status for an account. This is an implicit privilege so if no users/roles are assigned to it, then all users/roles are able to update the Hold/Warn status for an account.

Hi Kris,
This functionality is not currently supported for AP Accounts. Consider adding this as an enhancement request through the Product Ideas forum.
Here are the steps to add a product idea.
Access the Support Center. (https://supportcenter.ungerboeck.com )
Go to The Community by clicking on the Collaborate! button.
Click on the Product Ideas tab.
Click the Enter the Forum button for the forum where you would like to add the enhancement request. (I believe your current idea would fit in either the Venues or Financials product ideas forum - pick either one.)
Click the Create a Post in this Topic button.
Complete the form describing the desired behavior and options and click the Submit button.
Regards,
Sam
