The Registration Confirmation screen appears after a registrants submits an order during public-facing registration. The system can also automatically send a confirmation via email to the registration order account email address and each registrant's email address.
You use the Confirmation Group to configure the following for public-facing registration:
- If email confirmations are sent and settings for the email confirmations
- Template for the email confirmations
- Configure the Return Home and Sign Out Return links
- Allow adding the event to Outlook
- Show QR barcodes
- Link to Registration Check-In
- Confirmation header and footer text
- Social media links
To configure the Confirmation Group for a registration form template:
- Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event for the registration setup.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Setup. The Registration Setup screen opens.
- Select the Registration Form Setup tab.
- Edit Form Template hyperlink in the Appearance section. The Form Template screen opens.
- Select the Confirmation Group.
- Click the Edit Component hyperlink in the Confirmation Group on the right. The Edit Confirmation Form Section screen opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Confirmation Email Template - Email template for the email confirmation. Select [Ungerboeck Confirmation] to use the standard Ungerboeck confirmation. The standard Momentus Enterprise confirmation includes an order details section with headings for each registrant and all the items on the registration order with details. Custom email confirmations are created in the Email and Merge Templates screen.
- Return Home - If a URL is entered, the confirmation page displays a Return Home button that takes the registrant to the specified URL. If no URL is entered, no Return Home button displays.
- Sign Out Return Link - URL the registrant is directed to when clicking the Sign Out link.
- Enable Automatic Sign Out - Allows the software to automatically sign out the user from registration after reaching the confirmation page. If checked, the Sign Out After field displays.
- Sign Out After - Enter amount of time, in seconds, before the user is automatically signed out.
- Allow adding event to Outlook - If checked, attaches an .ics file to the confirmation so the recipient can add the event to his/her calendar.
- Show Barcode - If checked, a QR barcode displays for registrant types with a badge configuration that includes a QR barcode.
- Show Link to Registration Check-In - If checked, a link to registration check-in displays. Select the registration check-in configuration from the drop-down.
- Send Email Confirmation - If checked, an email confirmation is sent to the email address for the registration order account and the email address for each registrant. If unchecked, the registrant only sees the confirmation page and does not receive an email confirmation.
- Sent From Email - Email address the confirmation email is sent from. Use the following format to show a name and email address: Enter Name <emailaddress>
- Bcc Email - If checked, the email address receives a copy of the confirmation each time an order is submitted. To enter more than one email address, use a comma (,) to separate email addresses.
- Crystal Report to Attach to Email - Crystal report to attach to the email confirmation. See Attach a Crystal Report to Registration Confirmations for more information.
- Merge Template - Merge template (EZWriter report) to attach to the email confirmation.
- Bcc the Event Coordinator/Event Rep/Account Rep - If checked, the event coordinator/event rep/account rep receives a copy of the confirmation.
- Expand the Confirmation Page Settings section.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Confirmation Text - Enter the text to display on the confirmation page after the registrant submits the order. This text also displays in the email confirmation.
- Confirmation Footer - Enter the text to display below the order summary on the confirmation page after the registrant submits the order. This text also displays in the email confirmation.
- Expand the Enter details of your Facebook and LinkedIn pages below to add social media links section.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Caption - Text that displays below the header on the Confirmation page.
- Facebook Fan Page - Link to the Facebook Fan page to display on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email if using the standard Momentus Enterprise confirmation.
- Facebook Resource - Resource that is added to the registration order if the registrant clicks the Facebook link. This is used to track incentives for registrants posting to Facebook.
- LinkedIn Group - Link to the LinkedIn Group to display on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email if using the standard Momentus Enterprise confirmation.
- LinkedIn Resource - Resource that is added to the registration order if the registrant clicks the LinkedIn link. This is used to track incentives for registrants posting to LinkedIn.
- Click OK.
