With the release of version .97 you may notice that your Membership labels show as Legacy Membership. This is because with .97 we have a brand new Membership module that makes it easier to create and manage memberships and membership orders.
Will my Legacy Membership orders convert to new Membership?
No. New membership is a complete rewrite of Membership. Because new Membership does not have the concept of Standing Orders, you must start fresh with new Membership. The Legacy Membership orders remain connected to the account for historical purposes.
Do I still need a standing Membership order?
No. With the rewrite of Membership, you no longer need to create and maintain a standing membership order.
Will the iEBMS Membership portal work with new Membership?
No, with the new Membership module, we have a new Membership Portal coming in .98 that is designed to help you drive membership sign-ups, increase conversions, and make renewing easy. If you want to continue offering online membership, use Legacy Membership until the .98 release.
Can I continue to use Legacy Membership?
Yes, Legacy Membership is still supported and will be supported until the release of the new Membership Portal in .98. Once .98 is released, Legacy Membership will enter the Sunset phase where only critical issues will be addressed.

Does the new Membership allow for a member to have multiple memberships?
Yes, new Membership was written so that contacts can have multiple memberships and/or be part of a group membership.
Does new Membership have API endpoints?
Yes.
Does new Membership offer Group Membership?
Yes. The new Membership module allows for group memberships including corporate, team, and family groups.
Does new Membership allow for automatic billing?
Yes, when adding a membership, an order is created for each installment to make it easier to invoice and bill your members.
How easy is it to renew a membership with the new Membership module?
Renewing a membership is very easy in new Membership. You can do it with just a few clicks.
Is there a way to track Member engagements in new Membership?
Yes, there is a table to track membership engagements. This requires an API license and integration with third party vendors that provide ticketing and point of sales systems. Contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager to find out more about using Member Engagements.
Can I track prospective members?
Yes, the Prospective Members screen is where you can track prospective members and convert them to Members.
