Concessions are incentives you may offer to your customer for bringing their event to your organization. You use concession types with event opportunities to categorize the requested concessions for potential events.
Add a Concession Type
- Click the Concession Types link from the Main Menu. The Concession Types screen opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Concession Type screen opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Description - Description of the concession type.
- Code - Unique alphanumeric code used by the system.
- Internal - If checked, the concession type is for internal use only and is not available on public-facing applications.
- Click OK.
Change a Concession Type
You can change the description or internal setting of the concession type after you have created it. When you change the description of a concession type, it updates wherever the concession type is used. If you don't want to update the already existing concession type data, then you must add a new concession type using the steps in Add a Concession Type.
- Click the Concession Types link from the Main Menu. The Concession Types screen opens.
- Select the concession type to edit.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Concession Type screen opens.
- Make the desired change.
- Click OK.
Delete a Concession Type
If you no longer use a concession type and don't want to keep a record of it, you can delete it. When you delete a concession type that is used, you receive a prompt to select a concession type to replace the concession type you are deleting. You cannot undo the delete or delete and replace process.
- Click the Concession Types link from the Main Menu. The Concession Types screen opens.
- Right-click on the concession type to delete.
- Select Mark for Delete.
- Click the Save button. If the concession type is used, the Replace screen opens.
- Select the concession type from the drop-down to replace the deleted concession type.
- Click OK.
